The summer lingers on, yearning
As the wind sighs, blowing country grass to and fro
The sun shines from up above,
As clouds cast their shadows upon the world below
And the cycle continues moving slowly
So willing eye’s can see, embrace life, every breath
And its beauty
For if not you’ll wake one day filled with regret
At having never tried, at having never met
-life and all it’s wonders, life so wild and free,
And above all else you’ll remain forever blind
To the knowledge of me.
